It's hot in Tokyo these days. When we go out of the house is like meeting a wall of warm air. The air is damp and we start to sweat pretty quickly. Unfortunately we have no air conditioning in our convertible, but we are still dependent on using it to get around. Especially as most of us have short legs, but as we say, "it is better with short legs, than short fuse";)
Our convertible is easy to drive and pretty nice. It is broad, yet narrow enough that we manage to get it in to most stores. Some Japanese people probably think we look a little funny in this big cabriolet. We do not know if it is convertible, or the kids in it, they find strange. Some loudly express their surprise. Other we can hear whisper "san! San!" San means three, so we guess that they find it strange that three children together out is exploring the city.
Here is our nice green and orange convertible. Without it we would not have gotten anywhere :)
But it is great - wide loads. And that's exactly how we feel when we see the world. But we're big in Japan. And we have room for everyone :)
Here is one sweaty kid, hot and happy!
